I was cleaning out the office and came across this poem I'd written.
I sat down to scribble notes
Make a list of things to do
Knowing I'd misplace it
Long before the list was through
And I realized just how often
I forget to tell you
How much I really notice
All the little things you do.
Yesterday you kissed me
Called to say you missed me
Left a note that said 'I Love You'
On the laundry I forgot to do.
You filled my car with gas
Mentioned how much you like my ass
Then you mopped the floor
Helped me wash the cabinet door
And I can't remember if I even told you thanks.
