Jordan feeding the deer-they were so beautiful.
Coming out of her shell...
What a joke; she's one of those kids that tells her life story to every person she passes. We're working on the idea of maybe not talking to every stranger she sees.
Our very first elephant ride! This was not really on the day's agenda, but a gal's gotta be flexible, right?
Chase and Connor-in the mouth of a hippopotamus!
And all tuckered out on the way home:) There's not much sweeter than a sleeping baby.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. We've been a little busier than usual this week; it seems like we've crammed a month's worth of social activity into the last 5 days! Tomorrow should be nice (if hot as blazes), and the band is playing a holiday gig at the American Legion. The kids and I are planning on going if it's not too miserable. I'll fill you in on our zoo trip (and my major freak out) next time!

Wonderful pictures, Whitney! No, there is not much more heartwarming that a sleeping baby. And Connor is a cutie, waking or sleeping. Jordan was born an extrovert, there's no doubt!
You are right about sleeping babies! All sleeping children for that matter. Wish the kids in my park would all go take a nap ......
Wonderful pictures of your day at the zoo and a fabulous African elephant. You all had such a great day. Thank you for sharing!
